The IBPS PO Interview process involves a face-to-face interview for candidates who have cleared the mains exam, with a maximum of 100 marks at stake. The minimum qualifying mark for the interview is 40%, with a reduced threshold of 35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates.
During the interview round, which typically lasts 15-20 minutes, a panel of bank officials quizzes the candidates on a range of topics including themselves, the banking sector, current affairs, and general awareness. Candidates are expected to be well-dressed, confident, and equipped with all necessary documents for the interview.

• Candidates are required to clear mains exam and the Interview phase separately in order to qualify for final merit.
• The IBPS PO Main exam and interview will have a weightage ratio of 80:20 for the final merit list.
